If you haven’t heard of it already, you must live under a rock. The great team behind @streetfeast #DalstonYard and #ModelMarket have opened up their newest all day dining foodie site - #Dinerama.  Although Dalston Yard is still a firm favorite (not only as its walking distance), it was high time we go check out what the new kid on the block had to offer. Unlike the other two, Dinerama is open 4 days a week (Thursday - Sunday)
Started off at Bird Box ( by the same guys behind Smokestak) sampling some of their Bajan Rotisserie Chicken with the most AMAZING Roast Garlic potatoes.  If I could,  I would live off these potatoes…they were like salty garlicky pillows of potato love. Chicken was also great, but the potatoes… *drool*. A lot of people diss chicken as a boring meat… but you need to put a lot of love and work to get succulent chicken that’s full of flavor. And it seems I’m not the only one who loves a bit of finger licking chicken with restaurants specializing in poultry like Clutch and Chick 'n Sours. So go on, next time give the old chick a try.

For our second course, we moved on  to try out Fundi Pizza, run by two brothers who built their own wood fired pizza oven and serving up fresh Neapolitan pizza (sounds familiar). Another dish which is very close to my heart, these guys definitely know what they are doing with pizza. The dough is faultless - perfect balance between the chewiness and crispness that it should have. Topped off with a near to perfect tomato sauce and scattered peperoni on top. Next time, definitely not sharing - #sorrynotsorry.

Moving on swiftly to BBQ Lab - what can I say? This place is an absolute must and I can't believe I'm only just discovering them. These are the BEST Buffalo Chicken Wings ever - and these guys know. Not only because I might have gone back to tell them that they were "life changing" but they have actually been awarded Best Buffalo Chicken Wings in the UK at Wingfest recently. All I can say is that these are sublime. We tried the Chipuffalo Wings with truffled blue cheese sauce and pickled celery. I was a little lost for words, which for me is unusual, so I will keep this short. Perfect tang, seasoning, spice, heat and that truffle blue cheese...can I get a straw?

After that *blow my mind* moment it was time to come back down to earth and go for a tried and tested trader that always delivers - and is the perfect way to end any meal - You Donut! A firm Dalston Yard favorite, the team here make the fluffiest dough balls, all freshly made right in front of you. You have two choices, but the obvious one is the donuts topped with salted caramel and chopped nuts - you have the option of having ice cream on the side.

Sadly I can't comment much on the myriad of bars that there is (5 and counting) as we were, ahem, a little delicate that day and wanted to have a booze-free day. But that means there is another great reason to go back!
